On Sept 14, 2008, HVO had the CISN software toolkit and INV installed for their seismic network by ISTI, making them the first seismic network outside of California to start using the advanced software package. The software provides a new level of post processing capability using the advanced Java-based Jiggle tool and an Oracle database for storing all parametric information. Additionally, a new duty review web page provides HVO with the capability to remotely review and confirm events over the internet.
