Earthworm 7.3 Released
A new version of the Earthworm earthquake network data acquisition and processing system is released. This is an Open Source earthquake system developed in C that supports over a dozen different digitizers including some new ones in this release.
Earthworm 7.3 is released on December 23, 2008 with many bug fixes, improvements, and new digitizers supported. The complete release notes along with the documentation may be found at http://www.isti2.com/ew
This new release also provides the Rock2EW module written by ISTI for Kinemetrics that allows a Granite/Dolomite instrument to act as an Earthworm export device. Recent use of this module within the USGS is allowing an building instrumented with FBA's to be feeding data to a Winston Wave Server that allows access by the USGS and the IRIS DMC.
