ISTI announces our new POC Q330 Configuration and Domain Name (DNS) Service.

The Quanterra Q330 has the ability to send a Point of Contact (POC) message to a predetermined internet site if the Q330 does not have a remote registration for more than 10 minutes.

ISTI's POC Services will receive these message, and then perform the following critical functions:

1) update ISTI ConfigServer. Your programs and/or personnel may then query the ConfigServer for Q330 information
2) update ISTI's DNS Servers. This allows you to contact your Q330 by connecting directly to a name, rather than a raw IP address via tag number. i.e. tag1234.q330.net or tag1234.q330.info .
3) your Q330s will be monitored by the SeisNetWatch Server on www.q330.net
4) you will be alerted if there are connection or other State of Health problems with your 330 via email or SMS from SeisNetWatch
