Q330 Scripting Toolkit

ISTI has developed a commercial grade Quanterra Q330 Scripting Toolkit that can serve your Q330 instrument pool. Make the most of this cutting edge seismic datalogger by using Qu@sar to program, configure, and monitor your instrumentation. Qu@sar can also be used to configure the Q330 Baler 14 disk subsystem. Automate configuration, testing and deployment with a simple scripting toolkit to make your field work more efficient and reliable.

ISTI provides customization and support to other Q330 software tools as well: 

• PalmDP - the most convenient tool to monitor or program your Q330 in the field or in the office.
• Q330toEW - a module which provides a direct feed from your Q330 into Earthworm (Solaris and Windows)
• qmaserv - also known as MountainAir, originally developed by JetSpring Inc. to seamlessly include Q330 data into COMSERV. ISTI has developed a new version based on Lib330 (from Quanterra) that is much more robust than the original and also works on Linux platforms. The new version, qmaserv2 is a much more robust implementation of Q330 communications.
• Q330agent - feed parametric state of health using this SeisNetWatch agent to monitor the datalogger using the ISTI SNW console. This sends qdp_ping packets to your Q330 and uses minimal bandwidth

• Q330POC system - uses ISTI's point of contact software to keep track of your Q330s that are on dynamic IP addresses.

• Q330recenter - command line tool to use to recenter a broadband sensor nightly (using cron for instance)
